Wahoo, I had an inset day today and my mum decided to take me out seeing as she feels guilty that she took my brother out on his inset days when I was slaving off at school. so we took public transport, as we always do. we got on and sat down like near to the back but we still had a good view of the rest of the bus, and we got a few stops further on and there was three buggies waiting to get on the bus, meaning that there would be four buggies on the bus (there was already one on it). so they all got on, and they were a muslim woman, a foreign middle-aged woman and two dumpy women (they were seriously pikeys). the foreign one went next to the buggy that was already there, the muslim one went in next to that, and there wasn't any room left. the muslim woman took her son out of the buggy and sat down and the dumpy woman started shouting at this muslim woman going, "IF YOU'RE BLEEDING SON AIN'T IN THE F'IN BUGGY THEN FOLD IT UP AND LET OUR BUGGY IN!!" so this muslim woman was like "oh okay i'm sorry" and the two dumpy women decided to do NOTHING to help her fold it up or anything. i think that's really rude, you're asking someone to do something for your own benefit and you can't even be bothered to help her with it. so she sits down with her son on her lap, holding this buggy, whilst she could put the folded-up buggy in the little "luggage" thing near the buggies. yet one of the dumpy women's son is sitting there so basically that folded-up buggy is now in the middle of the aisle. the dumpy woman pushing her buggy couldn't get in the gap, and started shouting at the foreign woman to move her buggy out so she could get her buggy in and push it to the side and so the foreign woman could put her buggy back in the middle. this foreign woman is like agreeing with her, like "okay, i'm sorry i didn't know you couldn't get in" and this dumpy woman is just shouting her head off to hurry up with it and no-ones bothered to help this woman either. i couldn't move because it was all taking up the whole of the bus basically and no-one could get through and had to go upstairs. it went on for so long people started getting off and waiting for the next bus seriously. next time they should just have little carriages attached onto the ends of buses, just for buggies and wheelchairs or whatever. but it really annoyed me, and kinda put me in a sour mood all day. if you're asking someone to do something then a) say it politely and calmly, and b) help them when they're doing it.
anyway, i got my bedding and a cushion and a laundry pop up bag thing for my room today, nearly finished apart from furniture and stuff like lampshades, mirror etc. surprisingly enough, my mum told me when we were having lunch that this was the first time she'd ever been in Marks&Spencers without buying any clothes (just food for our lunch today). I was actually shell-shocked, even if a toe enters one of their stores she's bought something. So we came out and surprise surprise, by the time we'd left the shop, there was a Marks&Spencers bag in her hand. She can't stop herself - so I set her a challenge: she has to run through Marks&Spencers without stopping for anything, she just has to look straight ahead, even if she stops to have a look and then carries on running she's failed it. And I gave her an extra hard part: I'm going to make her take £50 with her, so if she stops for something she has the money to buy it - so it's all about her resisting temptation. Good luck with that mum, I'm sure you'll fail it. I might update later, my arm is aching at the mo from something, no idea what. xx
P.S : I put the picture up there 'cause it made me laugh, reminded me of me and my friend.
